Check of zero adjustment:
Press the tip of the dial gauge inwards by means of the zero setting tool the dial gauge is correctly.Zeroset when both the large hａnd points to the zero mark.
Check of height adjustment:
The correct position for the most top measuring point is approx 5mm below
upper edge of themost top poston ring the height may be adjusted by turning
fhe nuts on the eye of screw.

Position the measuring tool for measuring cylinderliner.Measure the cylinder liner according tothe points indicated on the measuring tool.
Take measurements in fore-and-aft and athwartship directions(see data).
