余熱鍋爐具有其回收“余熱的特殊性"，所以在設(shè)計(jì)余熱鍋爐時(shí)， 必須對(duì)余熱的特殊性給予考慮。當(dāng)工業(yè)爐排煙溫度大于500°C時(shí)， 裝設(shè)余熱鍋爐產(chǎn)生蒸汽其效果是十分顯著的，在一般的情況下，如大， 中，小型鋼管廠在每一只退火爐窯上，都可以安裝一臺(tái)余熱鍋爐。 余熱鍋爐的結(jié)構(gòu)形式采用臥式煙管傳熱的原則，鍋爐安裝在爐窯上 面，把鍋筒、筒體的三分之一放在爐窯內(nèi)進(jìn)行直接受熱，再通過(guò)直 排煙管進(jìn)行三個(gè)回程，使大量的煙氣在煙管內(nèi)傳熱，爐窯的煙氣流 量大致在4500?6000m3/h時(shí)，都可以安裝一臺(tái)一噸的余熱鍋爐來(lái) 提供生產(chǎn)用汽。
